Miss Utah for America 2019, Danielle Stanley
Entering a pageant was not on Danielle Stanley's bucket list until her mom approached her about applying. The quintessential girl next door, and more likely to kickbox than pageant walk, Danielle was skeptical at first. Once she committed, she was glad she did.
"I am honored to be the very first Miss Utah for America! I never in a million years expected to be here, but now that I am, I am thrilled to spread the word about Multiple Sclerosis and represent Utah the best way I can."
Multiple Sclerosis, a condition that affects the muscles and joints in the body, is near and dear to Danielle's heart. Her mother was diagnosed years ago and continues to enjoy good health with medication, a healthy diet and moderate exercise.
"The more people understand the signs and symptoms, the more likely they are to have a diagnosis in the disease's earliest stages. If I can help even one person have the kind of quality of life my mom has enjoyed, I will have done my job with this title."
Danielle will compete for the title of Miss for America this August in Las Vegas, NV.
